Experimental archaeology : Nazca secret of flight.

Jim Woodman believed that the Nazcas knew the secret of flight.
Woodman set out to prove it through a form of experimental archaeology. He built his own Nazca-style hot-air balloon using materials from the area.
A banana-shaped gondola was woven from reeds harvested along the shores of Lake Titicaca.
The balloon's air bag was made by using materials identical to cloth samples from Nazca burial shrouds.
Woodman believed that the Nazca people would send off their dead off to the sun in this balloons.
The man who built the gondola previously built the Ra Raft II.
For the famous experimental archaeology expedition of Kon Tiki.
The balloon was named Condor I after the majestic bird of the Andes.
In 1975 Condor I flew 300 feet in the sky.
After a few minutes in the sky Condor I landed back to earth.
Jim Woodman then set out to explore others part of Latin America.
